Vaughan Public Libraries Service Info

Current Service Update

As of September 7th, 2021, all library branches (with the exception of Maple Library) are open during regular hours and curbside service is no longer offered at any location. All branches are operating at reduced capacity to ensure social distancing. For the safety of our community and staff, all pre-existing safety measures remain in place, including a requirement to wear masks and to observe physical distancing. Maple Library remains closed due to ongoing renovations.

We continue to accept returns through our exterior bookdrops at all libraries (except Maple Library), and all due dates, hold requests and overdue notices will continue as normal.

Since the onset of the pandemic, everyone at VPL has worked incredibly hard to exceed your expectations and maintain exceptionally high levels of service. A Remarkable Year

Maple Library Update:

Due to ongoing renovation, all services at Maple Library has been temporarily suspended until further notice. Customers are encouraged to visit, place holds, or pickup their holds at other VPL branches. The nearest location is Civic Centre Resource Library. Please see the document below for more details.
