Volunteer Opportunities

Vaughan Public Libraries occasionally offers volunteer opportunities to those looking to help others in their community. Volunteers must have completed grade 8 and be a minimum of 14 years of age to apply. Volunteers must also submit two reference letters and successfully complete an interview. Any volunteer that is 18 years of age or older is required to obtain a Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC).

Tech Coaches

Earn volunteer hours by sharing your tech skills with the community. Assist in a variety of programs for all ages, everything from computer basics to coding and STEAM. Volunteers must have completed Grade 8 and be 14+. Current volunteer opportunities are in-person as well as possibly online.

Tech Coaches - Coding Buddies
