10:00 am – 11:00 am: Sound Bath with Project Healing (in the upstairs program room)
A sound bath is a meditative form of sonic therapy. They help in maintaining a sense of well-being and support the enhancement of our mental, emotional, and physical health. This session is presented by Project Healing.
11:00 am – 11:45 am: Navigating Health Misinformation with McMaster University (in the Teen Room)
This session will explore the risks of health misinformation and will provide strategies for identifying reliable sources and how to effectively search for evidence-based health information. Presented by a McMaster University librarian.
12:00 pm – 12:45 pm: Human Connection 101: Building the Foundation for a Happy & Health Life with Genwell (in the Teen Room)
We will explore how fostering human connections can dramatically improve your well-being and discover practical strategies for building meaningful relationships that enrich your life. This session is presented by GenWell.
1:00 pm – 1:45 pm: Creative Age: Mindful Gardening Terrarium Workshop with Cortellucci Hospice Vaughan (in the upstairs program room)
This program offers a fun, hands-on way to relax, get creative, and connect with nature. Participants are guided through the process of designing and creating their own mini indoor garden using soil, plants, and decorative touches. This program is facilitated by a Recreation Therapist from Cortellucci Hospice Vaughan.
