Calling all teen/tween artists! Unleash your creativity in designing one-of-a-kind signs for Yellow Brick House's fundraising walk! Earn community service hours while making a difference! Register on Eventbrite. Yellow Brick House is an organization committed to aiding women and children in rebuilding their lives after experiencing domestic violence or abuse.
Every year, Yellow Brick House hosts a walk to raise money for women and children affected by domestic violence or abuse. Last year’s walk raised an impressive $118,000 in support of YBH’s Public Education program. This program focuses on educating youth in grades 6-12 about the signs of abuse and promoting healthy relationship dynamics.
In anticipation of Yellow Brick House’s walk on November 3, 2024, talented students across York Region are invited to contribute to creating new signs that participants will carry during the event.
Teens will earn community service hours for participating. Bonus: the top 3 poster submissions will win a gift card! For more information, contact Pamela Deveaux, pamelad@yellowbrickhouse.org.
