Dr. McSheffrey will provide a brief overview of the increase in the incidence of eating disorders during the pandemic, the medical consequences of eating disorders and some suggestions for parents who suspect that their child may have an eating disorder.
Dr. Gordon McSheffrey is a paediatrician who specializes in Adolescent Medicine. He completed his paediatric residency and his Adolescent Medicine Fellowship at the University of Toronto and the Hospital for Sick Children. In addition to practicing at Boomerang Health, Dr. McSheffrey works at the Scarborough Health Network and the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health as an Adolescent Medicine Specialist.
