Presented by Dr. Karen Bopp, Director of Provincial Outreach, Adjunct Professor, Centre for Interdisciplinary Research and Collaboration in Autism (CIRCA), The University of British Columbia

In celebration of World Autism Awareness Day, we end our discussion on Autism with a session on Autism and Neurodiversity in the Workplace.

The aim is to encourage organizations to create workspaces that welcome and support neurodiversity.By identifying Neurodiverse people and conditions such as autism, dyspraxia, dyslexia and ADHD which may cause workplace discrimination, employers are encouraged to focus on the benefits of Neurodiversity at work rather than the challenges.
