March 1 – Importance of Play
We will be talking about the importance of play in infants' lives. Various toys will be brought out for the babies to play with.
March 8 – Mental Health and Self-Care
We will briefly talk about mental health in parents, and tips for self-care. Afterwards, we will be offering a workshop in making spa-related items that you can take home!
March 15 – Media and Screen time
Young children's use of media and screen time has been a topic in the news lately, and there are lots of opinions on this. We will talk about these different perspectives and how young children are affected.
March 22 – Language Development
A child's first word can be an important milestone, and we'll discuss why that is, and strategies on helping your little one with language development.
March 29 – Early Literacy and Reading
It is never too early to introduce books and reading to your child! We'll discuss early literacy skills and strategies to help develop these skills.
April 5 – Music and Movement
We will be talking about how music can contribute to your infant's development, and how music encourages their movement. We will have instruments for the babies to play with.
April 12 – Sleep Techniques and Methods
Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant and founder of hush baby hush, Anita Patel, will join us to speak about gentle to intermediate sleep techniques and methods to help families get the sleep you need for your children.
April 26 – Sensory Play
We have already talked about the importance of play, but now we will focus on sensory play with toys that are specifically designed to stimulate your little one's senses.
