In April 2010, VPL renovated its Kleinburg Library branch. The renovations included the installation of a new lift, which provides access to all three floors, the addition of an accessible washroom on the lower level and the installation of a new visual fire alarm to ensure compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act. The main entrance and foyer was also revitalized, a new Check Out Desk was added, a new internal/external book drop was installed, two washrooms were refurbished and more!

On June 22, Kleinburg Library celebrated its grand re-opening by inviting customers to drop by to check out its completed renovations. The official welcome included a great story about Clifford topped with a visit from the big red dog himself!
