Vaughan Public Libraries is excited to be bringing back the Design a Bookmark Contest for its third year in a row! We’re calling all young artists aged 12 to 18 to unleash your creativity. This year’s theme is Making Memories: bringing your favourite library memory (or memories) to life. Whether through digital or handmade art, you could win one of two $100 Vaughan Mills gift cards.
Continue readingWe are excited to announce that a significant milestone has been reached in developing our new library. On December 16th, we achieved substantial completion, an important step that signifies the near-finalization of construction. This achievement means that site works, deliveries and installations no longer require vendors to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) while on-site, signalling a safer and more accessible environment as we transition to the final stages of the project.
As we continue preparing for the opening of our new library, we’re excited to share the latest construction updates! With high-priority work ongoing, we’re reaching new milestones in both construction and installation, bringing us closer to completion.
