Make It! is a creation space full of equipment and tools for makers of all ages. The focus here is the hands-on process of making something for a personal, educational, or entrepreneurial project.

  • Apple iMac computer workstation (no booking is required; the library card is needed)
  • Software: Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premier Pro, etc.), CorelDRAW Graphics Suite, Inkscape, Pixlr.

3D Printing and Scanning

  • Ultimaker 3 Extended and 2+Connect 3D Printers
  • 3D Scanner – Shining 3D Einstar
  • Software: Ultimaker Cura, Meshmixer, Einstar Software, Blender.

  • Arduino Uno

What does it cost?
Using the equipment is free for VPL members. For some services, there is a small fee for the material costs.

  • Button – $0.25 each
  • 3D Printing – $0.25 per gram
  • Vinyl: regular matte or glossy – $1.00 per 6″ by 12″
  • Heat Transfer (Iron-on) Vinyl – $1.00 per 6″ by 12″
  • Laminating – $1.00 per half foot
  • Sublimation Printer – $2.00 for 6″ by 24″
  • Glowforge Plus – Free Service *
