Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is the front-line treatment for common mental health issues, such as anxiety and depression.
Developed by Dr. Aaron Beck in the 1960s, CBT recognizes the connections between our
thoughts, behaviours, and feelings. Negative feelings including anxiety and depression can be effectively managed using thought and behaviour modification principles. Presented by Mrs. Leysa Cerswell (Clinical Psychology PhD Student, Fielding Graduate University) and Mr. Kojo
Mintah (Clinical Developmental Psychology PhD Student, York University), Clinical Psychology
