Have you ever been listening to something and have trouble focusing? Sketchnotes can help! In this session, you'll learn how to think with a pen or stylus in your hand, and even try out this approach with guidance and support. Note: You don't need to be especially artistic or creative to gain the benefits that sketchnoting has to offer. Grab some pens and paper and join us!"" - Tanny McGregor Sep 29, 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm - Understanding and Coping with Big Feelings Dr. Susan Lambert is a clinical psychologist at Boomerang Health, Sickkids pediatric multidisciplinary health clinic in Vaughan. She works with kids, teens and parents to help them identify and manage intense feelings and stressors. Dr. Lambert's presentation ""Understanding and coping with big feelings"" will help kids and teens better understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings and behaviours. She will also introduce some mindfulness strategies to help target some of those intense feelings."
