    Fridays, 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM
    Drop in and meet other parents and babies in your community! We will feature a new topic every week along with activities, singing, free play, and occasional guest speakers. For ages 0-12 months with a parent or caregiver.

  • Food For Fines

    November 25, 2019 to December 15, 2019
    Want to get rid of your library fines and help the community at the same time?  This holiday season, Vaughan Public Libraries is accepting donations of non-perishable food items and toiletries between Nov. 25 and Dec. 15 in our annual Food for Fines drive.  For each acceptable item existing library fines will be lowered by $1.

    Collected items will be donated to the Vaughan Food Bank, Humanity First Food Bank and the toiletries to the Yellow Brick House.

    Get help with Math, Science, English, and more. For ages 7-12. Please pre-register at the Service Desk in-person, or by calling and asking for Homework Help registration. Please note that due to demand customers can register their children for only one session per week, in English OR French. Customers will need a separate library card for each child being registered.

    Need a place to study for exams? VPL's study hall is open late for university students who want to study alone or in small groups. Hours: 9 p.m. to midnight on Mon. - Thurs., 6 to 9 p.m. on Fri., and 5 to 9 p.m. on Sat. and Sun.

  • Toddling to Read

    This program features stories, songs, action rhymes and early literacy activities that you can continue to enjoy at home! Toddlers will enjoy lots of stimulation and activity. For ages 18 months-3 years with a parent or caregiver.
