For Educators

Vaughan Public Libraries has ten conveniently located libraries across the City of Vaughan. Our libraries are home to an extensive collection of books, media and research tools for children and adults. With internet-enabled computers, and access to a wide variety of databases, the library is the perfect place for students to work on their research projects. Library staff visit schools for presentations and invite classes to visit the library. The following are examples of services that we offer:

  • Curriculum-connected outreach programs
  • Maker Experience Outreach visits
  • Welcome to Kindergarten nights
  • Tours of the library
  • Book talks
  • Training on using the library’s catalogue and/or databases.
  • Storytime sessions
  • Library cards for students and staff!

Contact the library to share ideas you have for a visit with your students, teachers or School Council!
