Sunday, May 17, 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

In this workshop, Deborah Kerbel, an award-winning author and VPL’s first Writer-in-Residence, will help young writers take their stories to the next level. Participants can expect to come away with helpful advice, savvy skills for beginners, and strong writing habits to establish from the get-go and keep you on track for the long-term. For children grades 4-8.

Deborah has published more than thirty books across genres, from picture books and graphic novels to young adult fiction. In May and June, she will offer writing workshops for all ages, along with one-on-one consultations, manuscript critiques, and drop-in Q&A sessions.
