Paws 4 Stories

Bathurst Clark Resource Library

Thursday, November 6 - November 27, 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Help young students develop their confidence when reading aloud by practicing with a trained therapy dog. Available for students in grades 1-3. Register on Eventbrite.

This 4-week program gives young readers who may feel shy or nervous reading aloud an opportunity to practice this skill in a supportive environment by reading to a therapy dog and their handler. Run in partnership with St John Ambulance Therapy Dog Program, this initiative is designed to help develop the student's confidence when reading out loud.
