Pleasant Ridge Library is Now Open!

Pleasant Ridge Library opened on Saturday, Dec. 20. Hundreds of residents came out to explore the new library. Families enjoyed reading together, children had a great time playing in the children’s area. The library was filled with people checking out books, magazines, DVDs and many other brand new materials.

The 8,500 square foot library, designed by Diamond Schmitt Architects and built by Maystar General Contractors is attached to the North Thornhill Community Centre. The new library offers a vibrant and well-organized space featuring modern designs with ample natural lighting. It also features a beautiful exterior reading garden, heated floors in the children’s area, and study facilities for both quiet and group study.
