Need help with research or library resources and services? The Book a Librarian service allows VPL customers to book a one-on-one reference appointment with a librarian or specialist. Appointments are 30-60 minutes in length and are offered in-person, over the phone, or on Zoom.
Get help with topics like:
- Using the library catalogue to find books, movies, music, and more
- Conducting research for school, work, or personal projects
- Downloading eBooks, eAudiobooks and using e-readers
- Business and career resources
- Finding reliable health information
- Genealogy and local studies research
- Using our Reader's Advisory tools to find your next great read
- Help with VPL's Learn It, Make It, or Create It services (including 3D printing and studio spaces)
- Connecting with local resources and community organizations
- And more!
