1. Picking a Design
Choosing the Right Design or Image
- Find a design or image that you would like printed on your mug.
- NOTE: When picking an image or design, avoid having white as the prominent shade as it will not turn up on the printer.
- Once you have your design, save it on a USB and plug it into the laptop connected to the Epson Edge Sublimation Printer.
2. Epson Edge Sublimation Printer
Printing your Design or Image
- Open the Epson Edge Printer application.
- Place your design into the software by clicking Add and selecting your design.

Once your design is imported click on the design in the software and re-size it as needed.
- NOTE: If you are printing multiple images, select all the images in the software then click Nest. After you have done this, you can re-size both images at once.
- NOTE: If you are printing multiple images, be sure to change the arrangement of your photos to Tight.

- When you are happy with your image, click Rip then select Print.

- When your design is done printing, head over to the printer and click Paper Settings > Roll Paper > Feed/Cut Paper > Cut.
Cut off any excess paper that you will not need.
3. Transferring your Design
Applying your Design onto your Mug
- Place the sublimation paper on your Mug. Use Heat Transfer Tape to keep your design in place so it does not slide around.

- Using the Cricut Mug Press, place your mug into the press and push the lever down.
- NOTE: Make sure your mug is Sublimation safe or else the design will not transfer over.

- Once the press is done, remove the mug carefully and place it on the Cricut Heat Pad to cool.

- Once the mug has cooled, remove the transfer paper to reveal your design.
