Living Your Best Life at Any Age

June is Senior’s Month and this year VPL is celebrating with the second annual Living Well Fair at the Civic Center Resource Library on Monday, June 8th, from 10 – 2 pm. We have a lineup of fun, engaging sessions, in fact, there is something here for everyone! You will definitely want to plan ahead and register for any sessions you want to attend, although dropping in and taking your chances is also fine. Sessions

We are starting the day at 10 am with: Soundbath with Project Healing. This session, in recognition of Indigenous History Month, is an altogether deeply relaxing experience! You are offered a sonic meditation facilitating deep rest. Bring a yoga mat and your water bottle!

At 11 am McMaster University will offer Navigating Health Misinformation, providing strategies for identifying reliable sources on how to effectively search for evidence-based health information. As a result of attending this session, you will be empowered to make more sound choices when searching for health information online.
