Anyone who knows me knows that I love to bake. From cookies, to cakes, to everything in between, baking is a passion. I used to think that I enjoyed it so much because I have such a huge sweet tooth, but it’s not that. Well, it’s not ONLY that. Baking is therapeutic. It puts my mind at ease and calms me down. I try to bake as often as possible. There are days when I find myself raiding the cupboards for ingredients, reaching for the mixer, and waking my family up to the smell of freshly baked goodies.

While I have a few secret recipes under my belt, I am always up for something new. Recently, I came across a series of baking books by Krystina Castella. I call them the “Crazy About” series – Crazy About Cakes, Cookies, and Pies! They are so great! Each book focuses on a specific treat, and is filled with easy to follow recipes just waiting to be baked. And what better time to try them out then right before Thanksgiving!
