  • Food For Fines

    December 1, 2018 to December 21, 2018
    Want to get rid of your library fines and help the community at the same time?  This holiday season, Vaughan Public Libraries is accepting donations of non-perishable food items between December 1 and 21 in our annual Food for Fines drive.  For each acceptable food item existing library fines will be lowered by $1.

    Calling all committed makers and techies! Earn volunteer hours by assisting staff and customers in our creation spaces. Build your resume while perfecting your teaching and tech skills! Ages 14 +. Contact your branch for further details. Application forms are available at the service desk or online.

    Newcomers and ESL learners are welcome to practice their English language skills in an informal environment with adult volunteers. Program held in partnership with the Library Settlement Program (LSP) in York Region and Catholic Community Services of York Region (CCSYR). Contact the Service Desk to register and for more information.
  • ESL Café Volunteers

    1:30 PM
    Volunteer to help newcomers to Canada practice their English language skills in an informal environment. Please contact the library for more details.
