ESL Conversation Circle

Volunteer to help our newcomers to improve their English skills

VPL is looking for English speaking volunteers to participate in the ESL Conversation Cirlcle. Volunteers will help our newcomers improve their spoken English through informal conversations.

The program is offered at:

• Pierre Berton Resource Library:
  Volunteers and ESL learners will be matched according to interests and availability. Both parties will exchange contact information and make appointments to meet in the library an hour a week. During the hour, both parties may share newspaper articles, talking books or music CDs together and discuss on different topics. An orientation session will be given at the beginning of fall and spring.
