To ease the minds of concerned parents and serve our customers, Vaughan Public Libraries has created a safe environment where children and young adults can find answers to their questions online. We achieve this by:
Keeping Identities Private
|
|
E-mail Librarian only asks for your child's or teen's e-mail address so that
we can respond to his or her question. We ask for their reading level
to ensure that the information provided is appropriate to their needs.
We ask which library they use so we can direct them to specific books
available at their local branch. Information submitted through E-mail Librarian Form is kept strictly confidential and will never be shared with any third party organization outside Vaughan Public Libraries.
For more information, please review VPL's Privacy Statement.
Utilizing Qualified Library Staff
Only qualified library staff will answer your child's or teen's question or
conduct online programs.
Sticking to the Question
Communication
between your child and library staff will be limited to responses to queries
asked and online programs.
