The Vellore Village South Library is taking shape!
You can see the library take shape as construction progresses.
Vaughan Public Libraries (VPL) extends a special thank-you to Mr. John Senisi, an art teacher at the St. Jean de Brebeuf Catholic High School, and his grade 9 and 10 art classes who created a public art collage on the hoarding fence of the current construction site of the new Vellore Village South Library.
Using wall paint and sharpies, each student was responsible for one colour in the collage using rough circle shapes with the allowance for some drips and such. The students then worked with their circles using the sharpies and created whimsical detail images. The concept is based on works by HENSE and Ed Emberley.
Despite the rain, construction of the Vellore Village South Library steadily continues.
