Beautifully carved trees have been placed in the Children’s area of the library.
Phrases such as “Read” and “Row, row, row your boat” can be found imprinted on the trunks. You and your children can delight in the artistry while choosing which books to take home with you.
If you are a fan of the hot summer weather, grab a book, smell the flowers, and relax outside on our second-story patio. There is a chair with your name on it!

Civic Centre Resource Library is getting ready to be open to the public in just two days! Display units are here, books are being put up on slat wall units, study tables are in place, plastic covers on the chairs are gone, trees have arrived, and many more things are happening fast and furious. So much excitement around the library. Come check us out on May 14 at 9 a.m.! You will be amazed by the new library.

Lots is happening at the Civic Centre Resource Library this week. Lighting installation is almost complete. Tiling and paint touch-ups are ongoing throughout the facility. Washroom fixture installation is ongoing as well. Ceiling work is nearing completion with the installation of ceiling tiles. The sliding doors have been installed at the main entrance and miscellaneous work is ongoing.

This week, giant banners have been installed at the Civic Centre Resource Library, near Major MacKenzie Drive and Keele Street to let pedestrians and drivers passing by know that the new library is opening soon! Check out these great looking banners.
Many things are happening at the Civic Centre Resource Library this week. The front entrance sliding doors have been installed. Vestibule formation is almost complete. Installation of interior glazing and lighting continues. Wood panel installation at the adult area is almost complete, and bench seating is being installed around the building.
